Lucifer Terms

Lucifer was the Latin Word for Eosphorus (Dawn) or the Morning Star. It is another name for Venus. Lucifer was sometimes seen as the Evening Star and Venus as the Morning Star or Hesperus. In Sanskrit this is Shukra who as Shukrcharya becomes the guru of the Asuras and joins Soma against Jupiter in a War in Heaven. The fall of Lucifer has been compared to the fall of Hephaestus.
