Corvus

Corvus (Crow or Raven) is a constellation In India, it is associated with nakshatra 13: Hasta (Hand). In Greece, it was one of the 48 constellations of Ptolemy. There is a legend that Apollo sent the crow with a cup to get water, who he waited under a fig tree for the fruit to ripen. The crow returned to Apollo carrying a water snake, claiming that this was the cause of his delay. In punishment for his lie, he was thrown into the sky with the Cup (Crater)and Snake (Hydra).
