Ploutos (or Plutus) was the Greek god of wealth who was the son of Demeter and Iasion after they made love in the thrice ploghed field. He was often shown as a young man with a cornucopia. He was also called Eniautos (Year Cycle or Anniversary). He was sometimes associated with Hades as Plouton. Cf.
