In Geography, Annapurna is a mountain and number 10 of the 14 Eight Thousanders. In mythology Annapurna is linked with Parvati the Goddess of Daily Bread. Filled with food, Goddess of Daily Bread. Shiva as a mendicant priest, was very hungry. He was given food by his wife Parvati, or Ambi Annapurna, the mountain-goddess who is identified with the mountain Annapurna.
