In India the 7 sacred cities are:
Ayodhya, Mathura, Haridwar, Kasi, Kanchi, Ujjain and Dwaraka
 
According to Wikipedia the Seven Sacred Cities are 8:
Ayodhya Mathura Haridwar (Maya) Kasi (The Holiest of the Holy) = Varinasi = Benares Kanchi Ujjain (Avantika) Dwaraka Kolhapur
