Acarya is linked with Mysteries and in Sanskrit means: 1) knowing or teaching the Acara or rules 2) a spiritual guide or teacher (especially one who invests the student with the sacrificial thread , and instructs him in the Vedas , in the law of sacrifice and religious mysteries 3) Drona (the teacher of the Pandavas 4) a spiritual preceptress This fourth meaning suggests that the mysteries of Eleusis links the Eleusinian mysteries in Greece via Cybele and Inanna with the Great Goddess and with mystical traditions of food (Anna) that entail both bread and wine and take us back to Parvati, Annapurna, Mount Everest and the 5 sisters of long life.
