Early Alphabets typically follow five patterns:
 
 1) Sanskrit A B V
     Atri Bhrgu Vasistha Russian a b v
    This becomes the А Б В Г Model of Cyrillic, Macedonian, Montenegrin
 
2) Babylonian Alfabesi A B G
    This becomes the A B G D Model of Ugarit, Phoenician, Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek

3) Arabic     A B J
    This becomes the A B J D Model

4) Persian, African, Turkish, Arabic A B T Th
This becomes the A B T θ Model.
 
5) Latin/ English A B C .
