Pa1n2. 2-4. 23 &c. , and {eka-sabha4}) an assembly , congregation , meeting , council , public audience RV. &c. &c. ; social party , society , good society (see comp.) ; Society (personified as a daughter of Praja1pati) AV. ; a place for public meetings , large assembly-room or hall , palace , court of a king or of justice , council-chamber , gambling-house &c. ib. ; a house for lodging and accommodating travellers Mn.
