Magha snAna

Magha Snaan In Hinduism, Magh Snan, or Magha Snaan, is the annual holy bathing ritual on the banks of Sangam at Prayag (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh. Magh Snana is also as mini Kumbh Mela. It is held in the month of Magh or Magha as per traditional Hindu calendar followed in North India...Magh Snan begins on Paush Poornima and ends on Maha Shivratri. During the period of Magh Snan a temporary tent city arises on the banks of Sangam in Prayag. Sangam is the point where the three holy rivers – Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati meets.
