Bagmati, Bhishnumati, Dhobi-Khola
In Kathmandu the 3 rivers do not join at a single point.
The three major rivers Bagmati, Bhisnumati and Dhobi Khola which flow through the heart of KTM were in ancient times the jewels of the city.
Bagmati River
The river originates at Bagdwaar (Bag Tiger, dwar gate)[1] on the northern hills of Kathmandu valley about fiften kilometres northeast of Kathmandu (capital of Nepal) where three steams come together.[2]
